Susan offers seasonal standup paddleboarding (SUP) classes and private sessions at Frank’s Marina on Lake Belton. All classes and private sessions include use of paddleboard, paddle and personal flotation device (PFD). All levels of paddlers are welcome and basic technique will be taught in each class.
Looking for a challenge? This is the class for you! SUP Fit is a HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) class on the water. You will spend an hour learning the basic technique of proper paddle strokes, and paddle distances to build strength and endurance. You will tackle traditional exercises like planks and burpees on the water to improve core strength and balance. And if you’re really brave, maybe you’ll perfect your head standing skills. Plan on getting wet, having fun and working hard!
Sip ‘n’ SUP
This 45-minute paddle is perfect for the first-time-paddleboarder or one looking for a relaxing paddle. If getting soaked is not your jam, this class is for you. Core conditioning, stability and balance will all be fine-tuned in a more relaxed atmosphere. We will explore Lake Belton, breathe in the fresh air, and unwind as we enjoy the water with friends. The evening wraps up with a glass of wine on the dock!

Cancellations: Classes will be cancelled if not conducive to participants’ safety. I will send out notice 2 hours prior and we will reschedule for a later date at no extra cost.
What you need
Active wear or swimwear is best! Sunscreen or rash guards to protect from the sun. Water shoes are optional, but most prefer bare feet.
SUP Classes are offered seasonly, June through September! Class sizes are capped at 10 people.
